Community Greening, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and the Arbor Day Foundation have teamed up for a tree planting event, and we need your help to get them in the ground!
The Tree Planting will take place on Saturday, Nov. 12th along Avenue R. in Riviera Beach (just west of the City Public Works Dept.)
Tree Planting starts at 9am. Event concludes around 11/11:30am.
All participants must register online in advance – Registrations Coming Soon!
Please wear closed-toed shoes, and clothing that can get a little dirty. We also encourage you to wear a hat & sunscreen.
Upon arrival to the planting, we’ll get everyone checked in, go through a demonstration on proper planting techniques, and then volunteers will go off in groups to plant trees!
These trees will help to cool the street, improve stormwater drainage, and add beauty for local residents.
Community Greening will have all of the necessary tools, as well as gloves and water (though feel free to bring your own).
