Weeding Wednesdays at the Nursery

Every other Wednesday morning in August, Community Greening will be hosting “Weeding Wednesdays” at the CG Tree Nursery in Boca!
Give us a hand as we weed young trees which are grown-up for future planting and giveaway projects. No experience necessary, it helps a great cause and can even be quite cathartic.
When: Wednesday, Aug. 2nd from 7:30-9:30am
Where: CG Tree Nursery in Boca Raton (22313 Boca Rio Rd)
Community Greening will provide all of the necessary tools and supplies, including work gloves, stools/knee pads, etc. Please wear closed-toed shoes, and clothing that can get a little dirty. We also encourage you to wear a hat and sunscreen. We’ll have cold water and snacks on-site (though feel free to bring your own).
We welcome anyone who is interested in getting their hands a little dirty, and helping a great cause! No horticulture experience necessary. This is a family friendly event.
