We’ll be passing out FREE TREES with the Hallandale Beach CRA on Thursday, June 19th, starting at noon during the Juneteenth Celebration at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park & Dream Center!

This will be a Walk-up Tree Giveaway, with options of both native and fruit trees.

Trees will be passed out on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of three trees per household (1 fruit tree max).

Must be a Hallandale Beach Resident to receive a tree.

Species Options:
Native Trees: inkwood, paradise tree
Fruit Trees: avocado, Barbados cherry

All trees will come in 3 gallon containers.

Trees should be planted in the ground – they will not to thrive in a pot/planter. Trees will come with species information and planting guides.

The Juneteenth Celebration will feature art, poetry, delicious food, and a strong community spirit. Join us at MLK Park to honor the legacy of Juneteenth and embrace freedom, community, and art.
