Community Greening & Brightline Partner on Palm Beach County Planting Project
We are proud to announce the completion of a massive planting project, created in partnership between Community Greening and Brightline – the eco-friendly, high-speed rail service that connects West Palm Beach to Miami.
Community Greening has worked diligently to plant more than 3,000 native trees and shrubs along the South Florida railway corridor. These new plants will improve the environment, beautify the corridor and enhance public safety. The thousands of thorny shrub and tree species form an impenetrable thicket that prevents pedestrians from easily crossing the tracks illegally, while also providing an appealing, natural look.
The benefits of this project are enormous, and show the positive impacts made through partnerships with private corporations which prioritize environmental sustainability.
