CG Tree Nursery

The Community Greening Tree Nursery is home to thousands of young trees that are grown-up to be used in future planting and giveaway projects.

Our Urban Forestry Director & Tree Technicians (along with the help of amazing volunteers) sow seeds, transplant saplings, and provide regular maintenance such as watering, weeding, and pruning to ensure we have the needed inventory for future Tree Planting and Free Tree Giveaway projects.

Nursery Volunteer Opportunities

Get a behind the scenes look at our tree growing process by volunteering at a nursery event!

Volunteers will help sow seeds, transplant saplings, as well as  water & weed young trees to prepare for future projects.

The Community Greening Tree Nursery is located on the grounds of the HabCenter in Boca Raton.

Do you have a group of 15-30 volunteers that want to help out? We host private group volunteer sessions!

Activities available for all skill levels and ages. No horticulture experience necessary. We just need your helping hands!
