Hobe Sound Free Tree Giveaway

Community Greening has partnered with Martin County to pass out hundreds of FREE TREES over back-to-back weekends during Earth Month – April 19th in Hobe Sound and April 26th in Jensen Beach.

Martin County residents will be able to take home FREE Florida native shade trees and/or fruit trees to plant in their yard – helping to provide valuable shade, lower energy costs, and increase property values!

The first Free Tree Giveaway will be held on Saturday, April 19th, starting at 10am at Doc Myers Park in Hobe Sound!

Species Options Available:
Native Trees: FL Keys blackbead, live oak, red maple
Fruit Trees: avocado (‘brogdon’), Barbados cherry

All trees will come in a 3-gallon container and include species information and planting guides.

The giveaway will be held from 10am-noon, or when the inventory runs out.

Must show proof of Martin County Residency to receive trees. Trees will be passed out on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of two trees per household (1 fruit tree max).
