Volunteers Must Sign-up Online in Advance!

We’re planting 25 Florida native shade trees at our Tree Nursery in Boca Raton, and we need your help to get them in the ground!

These trees will add some valuable shade to the property, as well as showcase the various species the we plant in the community and giveaway to residents.

CG Arborists and our trained Tree Technicians will be on hand to lead the group, and guide/assist volunteers. No experience needed, and all skill levels and physical capabilities welcomed. We encourage anyone to join us who is interested in getting their hands a little dirty, while helping a great cause.

Community Greening will provide all of the tools needed, have work gloves to borrow, as well as water and light snacks.

Please wear closed-toe shoes, and clothing that can get a little dirty. We also encourage you to wear a hat and sunscreen.

Families are welcome, all minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian for the entire duration.

The Community Greening Nursery is located on the grounds of the HabCenter (22313 Boca Rio Road). Upon arrival you will proceed through the entry gates of the HabCenter and around the back of the building to the parking lot. The CG Nursery is located in the NW corner – there will be signage on-site to help guide you. PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY ON THE HabCenter GROUNDS & CARPOOL IF POSSIBLE!

Event will be cancelled in the event of a forecasted Excessive Heat Warning or heavy rains. An email will be sent to all volunteers as soon as possible in the event of these circumstances.
