We’re hosting an early evening nursery volunteer event at the CG Nursery!
The Community Greening Tree Nursery has grown into an amazing space, housing thousands of native & fruit trees that will be used for future tree plantings and giveaways throughout South Florida.
Our fantastic Nursery Manager & Tree Technicians will be leading the group on a variety of activities such as transplanting saplings, sowing seeds, and weeding & watering small trees. There will be activities of all levels, including ones that can be completed while seated. We welcome anyone who is interested in getting their hands a little dirty, and helping a great cause! No horticulture experience necessary.
We’ll provide all of the necessary tools and supplies, including work gloves to borrow. Please wear closed-toe shoes, and attire that could get a little dirty. Hat & sunscreen is recommended, though we will be working under the shade. Water will be available on-site. Volunteers under 15 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
